2. Adobe Spark Post
Adobe Spark Post is a free online social media graphic design app that lets you add text, apply filters, resize, crop, and rotate photos.
Now Adobe Spark Post has an animation function. Simply choose a template based on the social platform you want to post the image to, and customize your text with a fade-in, slide or blur. Adding a little bit of movement, like animated text, is a simple way to grab the eye of your followers.
NOTE: You can use Adobe Spark on your browser, but the animation function is available only on the iOS mobile app.
Werble is an app that lets you transform still photos into spectacular moving works of art. You can choose from animated loops and effects that will sit on the top of your image. With the above example, I have created a festive photo with flashing Christmas lights and snow.
NOTE: Werble makes it easy to post directly to a wide range of social platforms.
Pixlr is a great alternative to photoshop. It isn’t as quick and easy-to-use as the other tools listed, but it does offer some powerful editing options. The app was intended for non-professionals but it does offers advanced editing options. Rather than downloading software, Pixlr Editor allows you to access a host of editing options from any computer with internet connection.
It works with masking layers and effects, perfect for creating images that require more complex editing and resizing.
NOTE: Don’t expect to crank out finished images in under a minute like some of the other tools.
Infographics are liked and shared three times more than any other type of content. They work so well because they turn complex information into visually interesting graphics. Most people don’t have the time or the attention span to scan through pages of text for the facts they need. By creating an infographic you have done the hard work for your followers. Since they are aimed at educating rather than selling, posting Infographics provides value to your followers.
